Paper Selection Dialog

(some features require the standard version)

The Paper Selection dialog consists of two main parts: the list of supported paper (to the left) and preview of the selected paper (to the right).

To open the Paper Selection dialog, click the Change Paper button on the Design Element tab of the Inspector window. Or click the "+" button on the toolbar and select Design Element From Paper in the pop-up menu. In the first case you will just change the sort of paper, in the second one - a new element will be added.
Paper can be also selected using the Select Paper Format button in the Print Dialog.

By default, all supported sorts of paper are listed. To navigate through the list quicker, you can use the filters by manufacturer, element type (CD label, CD cover and so on) and paper sheet size (Letter, A4, A5).
Manufacturers such as Avery use identification numbers in paper names. So if you know such a number, use the Search tool. The number can be found on the paper packaging.

To review and select previously used paper switch from the Predefined to Recent paper list.
Clear Recent and Delete Selected allow to remove unnecessary items from the list.

Avery8696

The paper preview allows you to select one of its design elements by mouse click. This makes sense when different kinds of design elements are on a single sheet. For instance, Avery8696 has: CD spine, CD Cover, CD/DVD Label or Disc.
The type of the selected design element is displayed below the preview.

As the paper list may be scrolled up or down, the selected item may get hidden. The name of the paper shown in the preview is always indicated at the bottom.

To apply your selection, click the OK button or double-click the desired design element.

In addition to the predefined paper list you can create and use for printing your own paper layouts. Custom paper is listed on the Custom tab.

More details about choosing paper see in the Choosing Paper section.

Plain paper can be selected in the Print dialog.
